Policy 01
Privacy
Cursed works without an account, ads, tracking, or telemetry. The app keeps your cursor settings and imported files on your Windows PC.
Data in the app
Cursed does not collect personal information, analytics, telemetry, crash reports, advertising identifiers, or a device identifier. Your settings, presets, imported images, and generated cursor files stay on your computer. Cursed does not upload those files to us.
Update checks
If automatic update checks are enabled, Cursed asks the GitHub Releases service whether a newer version is available. The request does not include a Cursed account or a Cursed device identifier. You can turn automatic update checks off in the app settings. GitHub may receive ordinary network information, such as an IP address and browser or app request details, under its own privacy policy.
This website
trycursed.com has no cookies, analytics, advertising, sign-in, contact form, or third-party tracking scripts. Vercel hosts the site and may process the technical information needed to receive a request, deliver a page, and protect the service. Download links lead to GitHub, which handles the installer request under its own privacy policy.
Your choices
You can use Cursed without creating an account or giving us personal information. You can disable automatic update checks, remove imported files from the app, restore your previous cursor scheme, or uninstall Cursed through Windows.
Policy changes
If a future Cursed release adds optional telemetry or another form of data collection, this page will be updated before that release. Optional telemetry will stay off unless you choose to enable it.
Questions
For a privacy question or report, use the Cursed issue tracker on GitHub. Do not include passwords, private files, or other sensitive information in a public issue.
